Jenna Riccio Laible, founder of Blondina Vita Design, is a seasoned designer with 10+ years of experience in product design and development, branding and graphic design. Taking a nod from her grandmothers, the two strong and artistic women for whom the company is named, Jenna’s passion and drive stems from her constant desire to learn, evolve and create.
Jenna started her creative path in apparel and graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with a BFA in Fashion Design. While there, Jenna was fortunate to spend a year of study at Polimoda in Florence, Italy where she was exposed to a trove of incredible people, art and culture. From Florence, Jenna journeyed to many parts of Europe, which sparked her love of travel and the global community at large.
After returning home, Jenna cut her teeth as an assistant designer in women’s bridge apparel. From there, she moved into legwear and accessories design, where she was able to have more of a direct influence on product design and development. While working with several brands and licenses, Jenna was responsible for developing two collections per year, as she collaborated with and traveled to overseas mills to develop innovative construction techniques and patterns, source materials and monitor progress from concept through production and distribution.
Working in legwear and accessories design with smaller companies allowed Jenna the opportunity to wear many creative hats throughout her career. It was here where she honed her graphic design skills by creating logos, branding, packaging and marketing material such as look books, catalogues, line sheets, stationery, email campaigns and more.
In 2012, Jenna founded Blondina Vita Design and has worked on a wide range of projects on a freelance basis since then.
When she is not designing from her home office in New Jersey, you can find Jenna with her husband, two children and their dog Sparky, or on her yoga mat.
